Space Series Poetry #4 

As night becomes day

And day turns to night

As planets revolve

Each sphere of delight

As starlight peeps through

And darkness pervades

In each passing moment

Eternity displayed

I am the watcher

The guardian of space

Betwixt heaven and earth

I prevent their embrace

I am endurance

Through strength and pure will

I shoulder the heavens

A destiny fulfilled

Do not look in pity

For the burden I bear

Stabilises the universe

A unique solitaire

As day becomes night

And night turns to day

All balance and order

In the cosmos, I sway
